Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED, America Heart Association certified courses with an emphasis on aviation and [CPR Training Aboard CAP's Aircraft] survival medicine. Some crew members are required to take this truing and others think it is important to have. Since 2008, I have instructed 116 courses for 247:
2008 - 3 courses for 7 pilots and air crews
2009 - 4 courses for 6 pilots and air crews
2010 - 10 courses for 41 pilots and air crews
2011 - 12 courses for 24 pilots and air crews
2012 - 17 courses for 27 pilots and air crews
2013 - 16 courses for 25 pilots and air crews
2014 - 20 courses for 40 pilots and air crews
2015 - 17 courses for 27 pilots and air crews
2016 - 18 courses for 30 pilots and air crews
Crewmember Emergency Training: Federal Aviation Regulation 135.331 requires charter aircraft pilots and crews to [Survival class finishing the day with pool training] take this 8-hour course annually. Since 2008, I have taught 263 courses for 3105 students:
2008 - 27 courses for 333 pilots and flight attendants
2009 - 23 courses for 268 pilots and flight attendants
2010 - 34 courses for 346 pilots and flight attendants
2011 - 32 courses for 366 pilots and flight attendants
2012 - 26 courses for 320 pilots and flight attendants
2013 - 30 courses for 434 pilots and flight attendants
2014 - 28 courses for 409 pilots and flight attendants
2015 - 29 courses for 411 pilots and flight attendants
2016 - 34 courses for 382 pilots and flight attendants
